Finance
The Finance Department offers a wide range of courses in finance and economics, on topics of great importance to society as well as to companies at the forefront of technological development and innovation, financial market practices, and regulations. Our students have the opportunity to enroll on excellence tracks, which benefit from partnerships with prestigious international certifications, for example the Chartered Financial Analyst certification with the CFA Institute, and the Financial Risk Manager certification with GARP.
The faculty in the Finance Department conducts cutting edge, impactful research on various topics, spanning corporate finance, asset pricing, behavioural finance, fintech and cryptocurrency, transition economics and sustainable finance, monetary policy and financial intermediation, and economics of education. The Department’s professors publish in leading journals including, the Journal of Financial Economics, Accounting Review, Research Policy, Ecological Economics, European Journal of Operational Research, Management Science, and the Journal of Banking and Finance, among others.
