Objectives
This sub-area explores the business value of Industry 4.0, with a particular focus on AI technologies and analytics. Research in this sub-area focuses in particular on:
- how companies can use AI and analytics to create advantage,
- how AI and analytics can be used to digitally transform companies,
- the emerging AI-based business models,
- how AI and analytics are reshaping markets and industries.
Ongoing research projects include:
- How to make corporate governance include AI?
- Which are IoT competencies in Europe?
- How are technology markets shaped?
- What is the rise of industry 4.0?

The AE includes one externally funded research project, AdoptBlockChain (Grand Est Region) , whose goal is to study the adoption of blockchain technology and its impact in the supply chain context
