A sparkling kick off in Reims for IMLux students

The eight batch of students enrolled in IMLux, the double degree International Master in Luxury Management programme run by NEOMA and MiP Politecnico de Milano, began their first semester in Reims on October 5th.
“Despite the Covid epidemic, we still succeeded in recruiting 47 students from 15 different nationalities, thus maintaining the strongly international character of the programme”, said Dilip Subramanian, Associate Professor in NEOMA and the IMLux Programme Director.
For the kick-off event, Alexandre Bariteaud, Marketing and Communications Director of Reims Tourist office and a NEOMA alumni (MiM 2013), welcomed the students to the city. He presented the various attractions Reims and the surrounding region has to offer
The students then participated in a team building event where they had a chance to display their creativity by presenting the messages they wished to deliver to the attention of the world’s CEOs.
In the afternoon, Champagne Taittinger, which is one of the two official partners of the programme together with the Prada Group, organised a visit of their historic Crayères cellars followed by a champagne tasting ceremony. For some of the students, this was the first time they were discovering the famous sparkling wine.
A very pleasant first contact with the family-run champagne house for which IMLux students will be working on an ambitious business project designed to enhance its CSR values through a 360° communication plan, all through the first and second semesters – the second to be held in Milan from mid-February to July.
