NEOMA's world

Thematics :

Two major events were held on October 5th and 12th respectively in Reims and the heart of Paris as part of the official presentation of the NEOMA Business School Centre for Leadership & Effective Organisations, its scope and its team. Both had the theme of “Leadership, Agility and Collaboration… Why should businesses reinvent themselves?” They also opened a debate and a reflection on company performance.

In Reims, businesses and corporate guests and the local press turned up for the event. Catherine VAUTRIN, Deputy of the Marne and President of Reims Métropole reminded us of the reasons for which the region was willing to finance the launch of this project. A first success, because the event gave the team the opportunity to make some encouraging business contacts.
The event in Paris on October 12th was also a success. In front of an audience entirely composed of professionals, Frank Bostyn reminded the assembly of the School’s reasons to open this Centre. ”Our Centre for Leadership & Effective Organisations finds its natural place in our mission of training and education. It reinforces our position as a vital partner of businesses by providing them with our ability as educators to innovate, our expertise and the potential of our research professors.”
To ensure an enriching discussion, Laurent Choain, Chief People and Communication Officer with Mazars and a PGE graduate 1988, was also present to share his extensive experience of the responsibilities that come with HR management in various companies. He spoke in particular of the “notion of shared leadership and the necessity to build a community of leaders”. His speech was punctuated with several examples of charismatic leaders and of avant-garde companies who had given HR an important place in their economic model. The contribution from this alumnus, member among others, of the Board of EFMD and the accreditation awarding body, EQUIS, underlined “the interest in the future of the Centre of Leadership and its role in accompanying companies in their organisational challenges and strategies”.
