NEOMA's world

Thematics :

For the last course of the year, Jennifer Harrison (NEOMA Business School) and Yuan Jiang (Antai Business School, Shanghai Jioatong University) teamed up in chilly Shanghai on November 27-29 to teach research in a multicultural environment.

Jennifer Harrison describes her experience with the course:
"The students in our programme demonstrate a strong commitment to developing global perspectives as business leaders and researchers, thus allowing for deeper discussions about their own business problems. We use evidence-based frameworks to develop theoretical insights for managing and anticipating international challenges and strategy modification. The close involvement of research faculty provide students with strong methodological and social resources for conducting research, both during and beyond the sessions.”

For Yuan Jiang,
“The variety of backgrounds the instructors and students bring to the classroom reflects the nature of multiculturalism in contemporary societies. Through in-depth discussion and exchange of ideas and thoughts around prominent culture-centered theoretical and practical issues, the class turned out to be a fulfilling experience which may shed light on our future practices in culturally diverse contexts.”
