On 20 January, the students of the Master in Marketing & Data Analytics programme were lucky enough to have a tour of the IBM France head office as part of their “Digital Transformation” seminar.

They visited the new “Solutions Centre” suite, which gave them a unique experience of digital transformation. The suite displays more than 170 innovative solutions created by IBM expertise in industry in the form of real integrated prototypes based on professional scenarios.

Several members of the firm’s HR department were also on hand to discuss career opportunities offered to professionals specialising in the field of data analytics. This feedback was particularly invaluable for the group, which is aiming for a career at the crossroads between marketing, technology, and predictive approaches.

Another highlight of the visit was the feedback from the study “digital transformation 2016” conducted by IBM with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the Think Tank EBG. Lucile Hyon Le Gourrierec, Senior Advisor Analytics BU, IBM Europe spoke to the group on the topic of: “What is the state of play for digital transformation in the economy of 2016?”

This seminar on Digital Transformation is part of the module Digital Transformation & Innovation. It fully illustrates the predominant role played by organisations in NEOMA Business School curriculums.

By opening their doors to our students and sharing their professional and sectoral experience, they help to ensure our programmes respond directly to market expectations, guaranteeing our students immediate and lasting employability.
