NEOMA's world

Thematics :

Student activities and campus life are exceptionally active at NEOMA. Here we look back at 3 of November’s highlights.

1/ Reims won two trophies at the North East Tournament

On 9 November, NEOMA Reims and EDHEC Lille met at the first North East Tournament, a full-scale sports competition. No fewer than 650 students came to support the teams. Six teams, men and women, competed against each other in rugby, football, handball, volley-ball and athletics. “Each sporting discipline will give us the chance to display our competitive spirit and hold our colours high to stir up the atmosphere and support our teams to victory!” they had promised. The result was two trophies, one for ambience and one for Sport in competition with EDHEC.

2/ Déclic Entreprendre organised its 5th TEDx

On 15 November, the Déclic Entreprendre association organised a series of conferences in Paris under the TEDx label. This time, NEOMA students chose the theme of ‘Forgetting oneself to better find oneself’. The invited speakers (Céline Collette, Léa Vigier, Yann DELPLANQUE, Pauline Palmade, Pierre Gilbert, Alexane Roux, Clément Geynet) each came to tell their story and share the career lessons they had learned. “The aim is to create a collaborative dynamic in which everyone will leave with specific ideas they can implement in their projects”, said the organisers. 3/ Rouen CoMu staged ‘The Devil wears Prada’

For the past three months the CoMu students in Rouen have been preparing their musical comedy. This year’s show was “The Devil wears Prada”, combining dance, singing and theatre. Performances were given on campus on 28 and 29 November. It was, as always, a magnificent production. See more info on the society’s Instagram account by clicking HERE.
