NEOMA's world

Thematics :

Veuve Clicquot has supported ten female NEOMA students in financial difficulty on a yearly basis since 2021. NEOMA and the champagne house called together current and future grant holders in late March, when the young women talked about their careers, life’s ordeals and the problems they faced integrating such a prestigious business school.

Flora Ferreira, master’s student on a Grande Ecole Programme (PGE)

“I’ve already thought about dropping out on a number of occasions, but I’m here today to tell you how deeply relieved I am to have been selected for the grant. Thank you to Maison Veuve Clicquot for giving me this new lease of life just when I needed it most.”

Anna Seye, PGE student

“It’s thanks to this grant that I’ve been able to contemplate a career that suits me, a career that is in sync with my plans. This support has meant that I can go to classes without any worries and don’t have to think about the next deadline for paying for my studies.”

Yoann Pierre, Veuve Clicquot director of production.

This is a long-term sponsorship programme with NEOMA. We’re keen to support these female students who are in financial difficulty and get them noticed, since they have shown great determination to succeed. The grants and mentorships provide valuable support during a pivotal period in their lives!”

Jean-Marc Gallot, CEO of Maison Veuve Clicquot and NEOMA graduate.

“Veuve Clicquot is a brand whose name conjures up a pioneering spirit among women business owners, and our champagne house is true to this heritage. We have steadfastly sought to raise the profile of women in the world of work, and to spotlight women whose bold approach serves as an inspiration. Believe in your dreams, believe in your intuition. I hope that these Veuve Clicquot grants will help these outstanding women students follow through with their studies.”

These young women have been singled out for their academic results, their courage and their determination. Veuve Clicquot is deeply committed to equal opportunities, and the champagne house used the event to talk about its mentoring programme. Each of the ten mentors at Veuve Clicquot presented a “pledge of commitment” to their mentee as a symbol of their willingness to be on hand and to support the students.
