The Rouen campus had the honour of hosting an ELAN panel discussion (Entrepreneurs and Leaders for the Future of Normandy) on Friday 3 June, which was attended by around 120 participants.
The event was organised on the topic of “The progress made by Haropa in its first four years,” provided an opportunity for professional and institutional players to discuss HAROPA (an economic interest group for the ports of Paris, Rouen and Le Havre), the state of the local ports and their future.
Alongside Valérie Fourneyron, a local MP and former minister, and Antoine Berbain, chief executive of HAROPA, Jérôme Verny, a NEOMA professor who specialises in transport and logistics, shared his expert knowledge of the industry and his strategic vision.
As director of the School’s Mobis institute, Jérôme Verny has built up extensive knowledge of the overall regional supply chain (the ports of Le Havre, Rouen, Paris, etc.) and its different players.
With this appearance on the ELAN panel, Jérôme Verny demonstrated perfectly the School’s desire to serve its local regions effectively.
