On 7 November on our Paris campus, the Master of Science in International Luxury Management celebrated its fifth anniversary.
IMLUX is a Programme with a unique positioning, delivering a double diploma from NEOMA BS and MIP Politecnico di Milano. It develops the skills necessary to understand value creation and management all along the supply chains of the luxury sector.
The anniversary provided an opportunity to bring together players in the luxury sector, students and alumni from the MSc, and staff from NEOMA BS and Politecnico di Milano who work on the programme.
“Our objective at NEOMA BS is to consolidate our positioning in the luxury industry and create a community of students, managers, and teaching staff. We must all work together,” stressed Emmanuelle Rigaud-Lacresse, co-director of the Master of Science in International Luxury Management.
On the agenda for the evening, a panel discussion on the topic of “The luxury industry and value creation: the new rules,” with Hervé FORT, CEO of GROUPE GARDINIER HOSPITALITY (Domaine Les Crayères and Groupe Taillevent), Margareth HENRIQUEZ President & CEO, KRUG MAISON DE CHAMPAGNE, and Vitalie TAITTINGER Director of Communication and Marketing, CHAMPAGNE TAITTINGER.
Our close ties with corporate partners, represented around the table, and the relevance of our programmes to their needs are the crucial components of this partnership, as they stressed themselves:
“With NEOMA BS we have found a way of working in which we can discuss the needs of our professions,” Vitalie Taittinger.
“We are delighted to work with NEOMA BS, because when we talk about luxury, when we talk about brands, when we talk about value creation, we are talking about people. If we want to continue to improve, continue to improve everything that currently exists, the only way to do so is through training,” Margareth HENRIQUEZ.
“I recruit NEOMA BS students because they are ready to become part of our universe and to share our everyday experience,” Hervé FORT.
This cooperation was also illustrated during the evening by the presentation of the new book entitled “New Luxury Management,”* co-written by Emmanuelle Rigaud-Lacresse and Fabrizio Pini, co-directors of the Master of Science in International Luxury Management.
The panel discussion was followed by the traditional drinks reception, an opportunity for the 140 or so people present to make new contacts and develop their network!
