Michel-Édouard Leclerc visits NEOMA Business School’s campuses in Rouen and Reims

Michel-Édouard Leclerc, the very committed President of NEOMA Business School, regularly visits the school’s campuses in Rouen and Reims. Last November, he spent two intense days immersing himself into the school’s mechanisms in the company of students, professors and school staff, along with local stakeholders and influencers.
At the beginning of the first day the President engaged in a dialogue with the students, mostly first-years, in the school auditorium.
Michel-Édouard Leclerc – along with Delphine Manceau – was questioned by students during panel discussions on the Humanities Conference Cycle that is soon to be launched at NEOMA. As the initiator of the project, he insisted on the need to question oneself by confronting viewpoints and experiences. He said he is delighted that his position as the President of NEOMA allows him to “go back to school”, and the meetings were an opportunity to tackle issues as diverse as leadership, communication and sporting values.
Frequently interrupted by rounds of applause, these exchanges also allowed Michel-Édouard Leclerc to pound his audience with some valuable advice: “Know that no-one is waiting for you. Commit, believe in yourselves, even have an ego… We need you!”
Afterwards, Michel-Édouard Leclerc was invited to a discussion with NEOMA BS professors, followed by a business lunch with local influencers from the Normandy and Champagne-Ardenne regions.
Breathe life into the soul of NEOMA Business School
Eager to learn more about “the NEOMA spirit”, Michel-Édouard Leclerc devoted a large part of his time to the special features of the school.
While the afternoon in Rouen was spent meeting student associations, which included “Envie d’SUP” – dedicated to the social open-mindedness of middle and high-school students from deprived neighbourhoods –, the later part of the day in Reims saw an opportunity for the President of NEOMA Business School to test NEOMA’s latest immersive virtual reality headset in France’s biggest drive-through supermarket.
Michel-Édouard Leclerc is curious and committed, and has arranged to meet the people from NEOMA again very soon for a visit or conference.
