NEOMA's world

Thematics :

Les Rendez-vous d’Affaires de Normandie – industrie” (Normandy business meetings for industry), organised this year on 16 June in Deauville, is a networking and business development event that has become inescapable. Launched in 2002 by the Normandy chambers of commerce, this economic highlight is organised around targeted, planned meetings between industrials, service providers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and distributors based in Normandy.

To guarantee maximum visibility at this high-profile event, NEOMA BS chose to sponsor the meeting, attended by nearly 300 companies.

The day was organised on the speed-dating model, allowing the school’s representatives (Stéphane Beaussart and Caroline Quesnay for Corporate Relations, Bruno Bersegol for the T&CDU and Denis Gallot, as Director of our Rouen campus) to meet nearly 40 firms face to face.

The aim of the 20-minute meetings was to present the School’s range of business services and to identify possible synergies between NEOMA BS and the organisations we met (70% of which were industrial firms and 30% service providers).

“By participating at this event our staff were able to identify needs, particularly for apprenticeship contracts and internships” explains Caroline Quesnay, Corporate Relations Development Manager. “We also noted expectations in terms of development support, such as market studies, commercial prospection, executive education needs, via our Objectif Manager Programme and Confucius Institute.

The participation of NEOMA BS in this important event is completely in line with the School’s desire to develop strong, lasting links with its local business sectors.
