NEOMA Business School has entered the prestigious Shanghai ranking ("Management" category) for the first time, and is now one of the world’s 400 best institutions in terms of research. The School has gone straight into the ranking as 5^th placed French School. It is particularly well ranked for criteria linked to the number of article citations and the number of articles published by international research teams.

NEOMA Business School had already impressed with its remarkable performance in the l’Etudiant 2017 Research Ranking, which placed it 3^rd in the list of Schools having published the most articles in top-ranked journals, just behind HEC and ESSEC. The journals involved were the one hundred or so most renowned internationally academic journals that set the standards in management science.

This distinction confirms once more the excellence of our faculty and its research. It also reinforces the School’s strategy with regard to research, based on three foundations:

1. Feed into the learning experience and contribute actively to teaching quality
2. Help to advance managerial practice in organisations to increase their competitiveness
3. Make a significant impact on society in general and contribute to public debate
