The new NEOMA campus, located in the Port Colbert district, will open its doors in September 2026, welcoming 4700 students to a 35,000 m² site. At a symbolic ceremony, all the stakeholders of this major construction project for the city of Reims gathered to see the planting of the first tree.
“It is with great pleasure that we are today officially launching the construction of our new campus and we are delighted with the support we have received from local actors for this major project,” stated Delphine Manceau, Dean of the School. “This building project combines the pedagogic, digital and architectural transformations which are currently redefining the education sector. Our ambition is to provide our Reims students with conditions for learning in line with the best international standards.”
This project was initiated by the CCI Marne in Champagne, a shareholder in NEOMA, which takes an active role in the School’s development projects and the related investments. “Thanks to bold strategic choices, NEOMA has become the institution of excellence we know today. And the School shines in international rankings thanks to rigorous governance, guided by a joint vision shared by the CCI Marne Ardennes and the CCI Rouen Métropole,” explains François Gomariz, President of the CCI Marne Ardennes.
This future site will be located in the Port Colbert district and will contribute to the attractiveness of the City of Reims. “This first tree symbolises what we are building together: a place of learning and innovation, a sustainable and visionary campus, to serve the students, businesses and society in general. Other trees will come to join this first one. And altogether they will make a forest, just like the students, researchers and partners will form a community united by the same ambition: to imagine and build the world of tomorrow” says Arnaud Robinet, Mayor of Reims and President of Greater Reims
The design of this new campus, focussed on innovation, respect for the environment and student well-being, was entrusted to the Danish architect, HENNING LARSEN. It will provide an extended training offer: post-bac programmes, the Master in Management Programme, Masters of Science, the PhD, and continuing education activities. In line with the School’s deep commitment to sustainable development, this future Reims site aims to be a leader in environmental terms, with internationally recognised certifications such as LEED, WELL and E+C.
NEOMA will be the owner of this new campus, whose budget is estimated at 136 million euros. The project is principally financed by the School’s own funds and by loans, and also benefits from the financial support of local authorities such as the urban conurbation of Greater Reims and the Grand Est Region. “Transforming industrial wasteland into a living and sustainable student ecosystem is a challenge that has been accepted with great success. This campus is becoming a cornerstone of an influential Grand Est that reaches out, attracting talent from all over the world, and embodies an exemplary ecological and economic transition,” adds Frank Leroy, President of the Grand Est Region.
“NEOMA Business School is a major player in our territory’s influence and attractivity. This new campus is a symbol of the School’s success. It reflects the successful combination of strong local roots and ambitious international outreach. I am delighted to witness the birth of this project. I know that the young people trained here will go on to hold posts of responsibility in Reims and in the Marne, but also all over the world,” concludes Catherine Vautrin, Minister of Partnership with the territories and of the Decentralisation of France.
