Catherine Karyotis, professor at NEOMA BS, has just released the second edition of "L'essentiel de la banque", published by Gualino, in the “Carrés Rouge” collection, in February 2015.

Publisher’s Presentation:

This book, divided into seven chapters, present the key elements of the French banking system. It explains the role of the bank in the national and international regulatory context and the main principles of bank accounting. Then it deals with the financial crisis of 2007 and its consequences for the banking business model. Finally, it summarises the main concepts in a glossary. Overall, it presents the current French banking system in a concise, rigorous, practical way.
