NEOMA's world

Thematics :

After a stimulating first semester in Reims, the second semester of the the International Master in Luxury Management programme of NEOMA (IMLux) was launched in Milan in January. For the kick-off event, students were fortunate to be addressed by Carlo Mazzi, Chairman of the Prada Group.

The Italian luxury group Prada is one of the two official partners of IMLux, together with the Champagne Taittinger family firm. Ing. Mazzi’s speech focussed on an essential question for business school students: how can the imperatives of theory and practice be successfully fused?

To enable students to concretely engage with this question, the Prada Group, which is an active participant of the Fashion Pact, has developed a specific project for the IMLux programme related to the issue of sustainability. Students will be working on this project throughout the second term.

We don’t want to teach you; we want to work with you to find solutions to the challenges posed by the market”, concluded the Chairman of the rada Group.

In addition to the sustainability project, the other highlights of the second semester include visits to factories of Prada, of course, Pagani, the bespoke luxury carmaker, Louboutin, and Chanel. So, some exciting months ahead for the students of this prestigious programme!
