Last September, the American standards organisation AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), announced the nomination of Stéphane ROQUES, (MiM 95), as one of 100 influential leaders in the world.
Managing Director of Médecins Sans Frontières France, Stéphane, the only French graduate to receive the honour, was rewarded for his sense of innovation, his entrepreneurial attitude and his numerous commitments for the benefit of society.
On 2 April, several influential leaders honoured in 2015 were invited to speak in Boston, at a conference organised by AACSB, in the presence of Stéphane Roques.
At the event, alongside Frank Bostyn, Dean of NEOMA Business School, he described his career and his vision, and flew the colours for NEOMA Alumni in front of an audience of outstanding leaders and representatives of the international academic community.
“Stéphane’s nomination as one of the world’s 100 most influential leaders is a source of great pride for the School,” emphasised Frank. “At the same time, it strengthens us in our position as an influential Business School in the global Education and Leadership landscape.”
“The award is an honour, and I accepted the AACSB’s invitation with pleasure,” explained Stéphane Roques. “Challenging the ‘system’ in the general interest has always motivated me, and the opportunity of presenting my vision to a prestigious audience only strengthened my desire to pursue this commitment.”
