In association with a NEOMA BS student society: “Cordée de la réussite Prépa’Rémois,” members of the Chair in Industrial Bioeconomy organised a visit by secondary school pupils to the Bazancourt-Pomacle biorefinery.

The "cordée de la réussite" is a programme to coach school pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds in inner city districts or rural areas who want to improve their general culture and their career prospects.   The society regularly takes them to meet companies and professionals in Champagne Ardenne.
On 15 October 2014, 17 young school pupils got the opportunity to visit the Bazancourt agro-industrial cluster and to learn about the industrial sector, the genesis and organisation of the site and the professions involved (industry, research, management…), and hear testimonies from professionals about their current responsibilities and their career path.
