NEOMA Business School has signed a partnership with the French Society of Financial Analysts (Société Française des Analystes Financiers - SFAF) with regard to its Master in International Financial Analysis. This new agreement will give students and graduates of this programme to prepare in the best possible conditions for the CIIA qualification (Certified International Investment Analyst), an advanced professional diploma in financial analysis and portfolio management.
“With this agreement, the SFAF recognises the excellence of our Master in International Financial Analysis,” stresses Catherine Karyotis, the programme director. “This special access to the prestigious CIIA diploma gives our students the opportunity to enhance their academic studies even further.”
"The SFAF is delighted to sign this agreement with a recognised Master programme,” adds Hubert de Charsonville, General Secretary of the SFAF. "It will increase student employability by giving them the possibility of obtaining, during their academic studies, a professional qualification recognised by more than 35 financial centres.”
NEOMA Business School thus becomes the first Financial Times ranked institution to offer this diploma, the preparation for which will cover 18 months, in three phases:
“Foundation” level, prepared during the programme, with the assistance of SFAF professionals
“National” level, which will be awarded along with the Master in International Financial Analysis
Completing these first two steps enables students to acquire the CEFA (Certified European Investment Analyst) qualification, delivered by EFFAS (European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies),
“Final” level, awarded after an examination and two years’ professional experience (including the Master internship), after which the student becomes a CIIA.
Recognised both nationally and internationally, the CIIA qualification will help to launch our graduates on an exceptional career in financial analysis and portfolio management.
