She earned her Ph.D. degree from Bocconi University and obtained her bachelor's and master's degrees from Keio University (Tokyo, Japan). Before joining NEOMA Business School, she worked at the University of Groningen as an Assistant Professor. Her research focuses on network evolution and dynamics, status, and corporate governance. Azusa's work has been published in the Strategic Management Journal and International Journal of Operations & Production Management. She taught Diversity Management for CESEM students, Innovation Management, Leading Change, HRM & Organization for PGE students and Entrepreneurship Project for GBBA students.
