Chaïma Benzekri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting, Control &amp; Legal Affairs at NEOMA Business School. She holds a Master’s degree inManagement from EDHEC and a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from emlyonbusiness school. Before her doctoral studies, she worked in management control atIBM and Orange. At NEOMA, she primarily teaches management control andmanagerial accounting.  
Her research focuses on solidarity dynamics, alternative accounting practices in crisis contexts, and critical and decolonial approaches to accounting andmanagement. She uses qualitative and ethnographic methods to explore theseissues, particularly in Middle Eastern contexts. She has presented her work atseveral international academic conferences, including the Academy of Management,EGOS, CSEAR, and AFC.
