The first event focused on the subject of supply chain and was held in November on the Paris campus. Other events will be organised in the future.** In a small-group round table format, the professors shared their expertise and some of their research with the school’s partners. Together they discussed the issues facing companies and the solutions based on academic research that NEOMA can provide them with. The aim of the NEOMAtinées is to identify and co-construct research projects through which NEOMA professors can assist companies in finding solutions to the problems they encounter. ## 1st Research NEOMAtinée: Supply Chain For the first event on the Paris campus last November, the supply chain directors of **Ferrero, Moët Hennessy, la Poste, Sephora, Saint Gobain** and **Sopra Steria Next** talked with [Aurélien Rouquet](https://neoma-bs.fr/professeurs/rouquet-aurelien) and [Alessio Ishizaka](https://neoma-bs.fr/professeurs/ishizaka-alessio), professors from the Information Systems, Supply Chain Management and Decision Support Department at NEOMA. The discussions centred on the relationship between retail and consumers seen from a logistics point of view, as well as multi-criteria decision analysis methods applied for making decisions and solving business problems. “It was very interesting to see the problems that are found in the field and how our latest research developments can help companies optimise their resources so they can diminish costs as well as their carbon footprint”, the professors said. This first event of Research NEOMAtinées generated a lot of promising discussions. What is its impact on portfolio allocation and performance? Does the frequency and quality of sustainable bond issuance send a message about the environmental commitment of companies?
