He is a PhD in Economics and Management Sciences of Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), and MSc. in Engineering of Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. Alejandro’s research interests are the Supply Chain Management, Operations Management and Revenue Management. His research appears in international scientific journals such as *European Journal of Operations Research* and *Waste Management & Research*, and international conference proceedings. He participates frequently in INFORMS Conference, POMS conference, EURO Conference among others scientific conferences and workshops. He serves as an ad-hoc referee of Management Science, *European Journal of Operations Research*, *IIE Transactions* among others.
