KAWASAKI Shota

Ph.D. in Leadership, Management, & Organisation

Shota is an Assistant Professor in the People & Organisations department at NEOMA Business School. He received his Ph.D. from Nanyang Business School. His research interests include organizational culture, employee motivation and well-being, and cross-cultural psychology. He applies psychological theories of perception, emotions, and cognition to understand how the same workplace events and experiences can shape one’s motivation and well-being differently, depending on individual, situational, and cultural characteristics. His works have been published in the Journal of Management, Human Resource Management, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, and Social and Personality Psychology Compass. He has also presented his papers in international management conferences, such as the annual meetings of the Academy of Management and Berkeley Culture Connect Conference.
