HASSANZADEH Alborz
Ph.D. in Operations and Data Analytics
Alborz is an Assistant professor of Operations and Supply Chain Analytics at NEOMA Business School in France. His research and teaching focus on humanitarian operations, particularly addressing humanitarian aid supply chains. He also explores sustainable and socially responsible operations, emphasizing the intricacies of contract design and dispute resolution. Alborz has published his research in the European Journal of Operational Research, and Applied Soft Computing, and has presented his work at several international conferences such as EURO, POMS, and ISMP. He also serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the European Journal of Operational Research, Computers and Operations Research, Expert Systems with Applications, and IISE Transactions on Healthcare Systems Engineering. After earning his Ph.D. from ESSEC Business School in France, Alborz joined HEC Montréal in Canada as a postdoctoral fellow. During his Ph.D., he was a visiting research scholar at the Department of Operations, Information, and Technology at IESE Business School in Spain. Before his academic career, he worked in industry across the manufacturing and retail sectors.
