CLAVIJO Nathalie

PhD, Management, Management Control

Nathalie obtained her PhD in 2020 from ESCP Europe Business School , following a CIFRE (Convention Industrielle de Formation pour la Recherche) with Saint-Gobain Recherche. She is now an assistant professor in the Accounting, Controlling and Legal Department at NEOMA Business School. Nathalie teaches management control, strategic management of organizations, risks and internal controls. Her research is interdisciplinary, between accounting sociology and gender studies. Nathalie studies how control systems and practices reinforce gender norms while analyzing the possibilities to deviate from them. She uses qualitative methods, including ethnography in organizations.  Recently, she has published in Gender, Work and Organization. Nathalie supervises the Advisory track of the Finance specialization (Apprenticeship).
