Programme leadership
Karen Delchet-Cochet
Karen Delchet-Cochet is a faculty-researcher in environmental sciences, and heads the Masternova Specialised Masters in Innovation at AgroParisTech.
She is a specialist in environmental and sustainable development issues in business. After an initial experience in supporting and assessing companies in terms of CSR, in particular at Afnor, she then devoted herself to teaching and research on these subjects.
She has published several articles and books on the circular economy, responsible purchasing and the integration of environmental and social issues into the strategy of companies, particularly SMEs.
Stephane Lhuillery
Stephane Lhuillery is a professor at NEOMA Business School. His research focuses on the determinants of innovation, and more specifically on open and green innovation. He is also regularly involved in evaluating innovation policies for national and international bodies.
His articles have been published in journals such as Research Policy, Industrial and Corporate Change, Technovation, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Cleaner Production and Health economics. He is a member of the scientific committee of the open access journal M@n@gement.
NEOMA x AgroParisTech
The partnership between NEOMA Business School and AgroParisTech stems from a shared desire to design a training programme aimed at professionals, exploring innovation as a powerful lever for meeting the challenges inherent to transitions while examining how to harness them in business.
AgroParisTech is a French grande école under the supervision of the French Ministry of Agriculture & Food Sovereignty. The school is a founding member and component institution of the Université Paris-Saclay, as well as a member of the ParisTech network and Agreenium. AgroParisTech offers a wide range of courses, including continuing education for young managers and experienced professionals. All courses are characterised by their multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary nature, combined with a scientific and technical dimension. Research is one of the main missions of AgroParisTech, which conducts fundamental and applied research projects with public and private partners. AgroParisTech is co-supervisor of 21 joint research units (UMR) with INRAE, CIRAD and CNRS, among others.
NEOMA Business School is Qualiopi certified for the following categories of actions:

Curriculum
The Executive Innovation & Transitions Certificate is aimed at all managers who wish to develop their skills and integrate the challenges of transitions into their technical and managerial roles. It is perfectly suited to managers in the private, public and non-profit sectors.
It is also aimed at managers in transition who are seeking to develop their knowledge of innovation in transition. This 5-week course combines in-person and distance learning sessions. Our diversified approach combines synchronous and asynchronous sessions, as well as individual and group work.
Note: It is not necessary to have any particular background knowledge of the ecological and digital transitions to participate in this course.
Navigating the transition: climate, biodiversity and resources
Understand the challenges of transition, from climate adaptation and mitigation to biodiversity and energy resources. Explore the consequences of these changes for economic sectors and regions.
Companies in the current of transition
Analyse the economic and regulatory environment for businesses faced with the challenges of transition. Explore the economic implications of the environment and delve into the normative and regulatory landscape of transition.
Business strategies for successful transition
Study to transition by defining effective strategies. Explore the business ecosystem and technological choices for seamless integration of transition elements.
On the client side: eco-friendly products and sustainable behaviour
Explore the impact of the transition on products through eco-design, green technologies and biomimicry. Dive into the sociology of consumer behaviour, sustainable marketing and the central role of the customer in the transition.
Managing the transition collectively
Learn how to support the transition at management level and mobilise your teams. The week concludes with written and oral assessments, summarising the knowledge acquired throughout the programme.
Please note: : The Executive Innovation & Transitions Certificate is a skills block included in the General Management Programme (GMP). The GMP is a 10-month course (three days a month) made up of five skill blocks focused on positive leadership, innovation culture and managerial best practices. By joining the GMP, you can complete your Innovation & Transitions Certificate to obtain the RNCP Level 6 qualification “Business Unit Management and Development Manager”.
Evaluation methods
Participants are assessed in the following ways:
- Written assessment: Participants will take a 30-minute written assessment, answering a multiple-choice test and questions relating to mini-case studies.
- Oral assessment: Participants will keep a logbook throughout the module and give a 10-minute presentation to the group on how they plan to integrate transition issues into their professional role.

The selection process is performed throughout the year. There is about a two-week interval between the applicant’s first step in the application process and the response from the selection jury.
