This partnership tells the story of a long-time relationship between Neoma BS and the CFA Institute. The CFA® (Chartered Financial Analyst) is a professional certification awarded by the CFA Institute. The CFA® certification is considered the golden standard for Financial Analysts and Portfolio Managers. Being a CFA University Partner allows us to allocate no less than 24 CFA scholarships to pay for the CFA exams registrations fees. CFA curriculum textbooks are mandatory during two of the three semesters of the CFA track.
The Real Estate and Wealth Management Track is powered by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Students in this track will benefit from the experience of professionals in Real Estate.

Layout of the programme : Two Tracks
Students interested in earning the CFA chart will be prepared for the CFA Level I and II exams in an intensive way during the Spring semesters, their objective would be to clear these examinations by the end of the semester (May-June). The MSc curriculum maps 100% of the CFA CBOK (Candidates Body of Knowledge). This track also offers an introduction for the Level 3, which brings students closer towards earning the CFA Chart – Chartered Financial Analyst. Students are expected to sit the official CFA Level I examination at the end of May (3 other dates are possible) and CFA Level II examination in June of the following year.Real Estate & Wealth Management Track:A niche market, the Real Estate sector requires very specific skills and uses financial tools applied to Real Estate valuations and project engineering.

Spring Semesters CFA Track : Preparation of the CFA examinations

Note: Awarding of the MSc Finance, Investment and Wealth Management diploma is not dependent on clearing CFA Level I or II official exams.
Students in the MSc Finance, Investment & Wealth Management – CFA Track are required to sit for the CFA Level 1 examination at the end of the first semester. Clearing the Level I entails students to a better grade in 5 CFA Level I courses (20 ECTS).

A trip to PriceWaterhouse Luxembourg will take place during the semester.
Note : this track does not encompass a CFA preparation. However, if you have already cleared the CFA Level 1 it is possible to begin in September and switch to the CFA Level II preparation in the second semester of the program.

Admission to the MSC Finance, Investment and Wealth Management
The MSc Finance, Investment and Wealth management programme is designed for French and international students or professionals who either seek to gain further specialisation in finance and investment analysis or real estate and wealth management. Ideally, you are from a finance related background or business background with quantitative knowledge and skills.
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree. Prior coursework in either finance, or numerate disciplines (such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics or accounting) is highly recommended.
- Proof of your English ability is required during the online application process (language score in English equivalent to TOEIC 800, TOEFL (ibt) 83, (cbt) 220, IELTS 6).
Recruitment is carried out on a rolling admissions basis. However, given the limited number of places, candidates are advised to apply as early as possible.
Admission is decided on the application to be filled out online.
Application fees: €100
Only for the CFA Track : once you have completed thee admission procedure, you will be required to pass an entrance exam. This examination covers 2-4 readings of the CFA Level I curriculum. You will be given sufficient time to prepare for this examination.
For students who have already cleared the CFA Level I, the MSc Finance waives the following:
- Proof of English as an admission criteria (IELTS, TOEIC…)
- The candidate will start directly in September instead of January, the CFA Level I program clearance waives all courses of the first Spring semester (MSc Finance, Investment & Wealth Management – CFA Track in 18 months instead of 24 months).
