NEOMA Business School unveils its future Paris Campus
Published on 02/3/2020
Scheduled to open in 2021, NEOMA Business School's future Paris campus is to be located in the heart of the 13th arrondissement's Butte aux Cailles district. The new campus will act as a growth lever for the School and fully embody the strategy of pedagogical and digital transformation. With an investment in the region of €80 million, the new campus will have a surface area of over 6,500m², the capacity to accommodate 1,500 students and host a wide range of post-baccalaureate to Executive Education programmes.
The opening of this new campus is fully in line with NEOMA's current ambition to become the innovative challenger to the world's leading Business Schools. “This ambitious project aims to meet the School's development objectives by enabling us to extend our selection of programmes in Paris, particularly for post-baccalaureate students from the region and international students and to be a growth lever for our Reims and Rouen campuses,” explains the School’s President, Michel-Édouard Leclerc.
The new site is set to open for the start of the new school year in September 2021 and will accommodate 1,500 students, replacing the current campus in the 9th arrondissement with a wider range of post-baccalaureate (already implemented in 2019), Advanced Master and Master of Science programmes, as well as the Executive MBA and Continuing Education activities. The PGE Master in Management programme will remain available exclusively on the Rouen and Reims campuses.
New learning outlooks, new relationships with information and technology... the new Parisian campus has been designed to accommodate the expectations of students born in the Google and Facebook era. “We are confronted with a new generation of students who are curious, have an appetite for entrepreneurship and who are open to the outside world and its new outlooks on learning," explains Delphine Manceau. "With this in mind, we have conceived the new campus as a connected and modular environment, favouring tomorrow's approaches to learning, innovation and networking.”
The new campus is fully adapted to 21st-century teaching methods and equipped with cutting-edge educational resources: touch screens, interactive terminals, simultaneous multi-media video projection, etc. Live broadcasting equipment will ensure that communication with the Reims and Round campuses is facilitated. “From the very beginning of this project, the construction of the new campus has been seen as a unique opportunity for the School to pursue its strategy of digital technology and innovation.”
The project, to be realised by the property developer Eiffage Immobilier, will provide more than twenty modular classrooms, an auditorium, co-working areas, an exhibition area and creativity rooms or educational playgrounds designed to encourage the emergence of new ideas. With an incredible view of Paris, the campus covers 6,500 m² over 5 levels.
This new site is open to the entire NEOMA community and will also include areas for the Alumni Association and the Paris branch of the Confucius Institute. An incubator for budding entrepreneurs is also planned.
At the same time, in line with its strong CSR commitments, the School has opted for a design that respects environmental issues and aims to acquire the HQE (High Environmental Quality) label. High-Quality insulation and acoustic materials have been selected to build a truly hi-tech and energy efficient campus.
