NEOMACT serves as a valuable complement to NEOMA’s academic curriculum.
It provides students with opportunities to engage with sustainability issues throughout their academic journey.
It was created to be aligned with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Our aim: to equip students with the confidence to transform businesses and society.
In an effort to address the pressing threat of global warming and biodiversity loss, NEOMA pledges to educate all its students in the core principles of the ecological transition. The School has rolled out the NEOMACT Academy, a training programme developed in partnership with the AXA Climate School, designed to equip everyone - students, staff and faculty - with an understanding of planetary boundaries.

Over 10,000 students have earned NEOMACT Academy certification in just two years. This represents over 30,000 hours of training dedicated to the challenges of the ecological transition.

The TASK test (The Assessment of Sustainability Knowledge) is used to measure our students' understanding of sustainability. It is embedded in the courses across our programmes.
To meet the commitments made under the Paris Agreement, we need to cut our carbon footprint to two tonnes of CO2 equivalent per capita by 2050.

“2-tonne” workshops are held on a regular basis on our campuses to guide students through their ecological transition process.
In two years, over 1,500 students have taken part in a two-tonne workshop, and around 100 people (students and faculty) have been trained to lead workshops.
A comprehensive positioning test helps students identify their personal motivations and discover their profile as engaged actors and “Change Makers”.
This helps students fine-tune their learning path so that they can become influential leaders in sustainability.
Students undertake 30 hours of community service to raise their awareness about social and environmental issues.
In partnership with makesense.
With the support of the Normandy Region.
In the opening 10 hours of the challenge, students compete in teams as they criss‑cross Rouen and Reims tackling missions inspired by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This event is run in collaboration with local associations and partners.
Students dedicate 20 hours of their time to projects organised by local NGOs (supporting refugees, promoting gender equality, protecting the environment and biodiversity, addressing disability, poverty and social and economic insecurity, encouraging sport, strengthening local and civic life, etc.) or to one of the associations that are part of NEOMA’s Social Responsibility and Solidarity Cluster.

To establish a learning environment grounded in solidarity and action
To discover the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) and non‑profit sectors
To spark interest in these fields and build awareness about the crucial role of social connections in solving transition‑related problems
To develop soft skills (agency, sense of self-efficacy and adaptability)
The NEOMACT PROJECT is mandatory for all first-year students on NEOMA's Master in Management (MiM).
The Social Responsibility and Solidarity Cluster is one of NEOMA’s five student‑life priorities, bringing together the societies and associations across our campuses that champion social justice and sustainability.

Ethica and Oikos educate and raise awareness about ecological issues on the Rouen and Reims campuses respectively
ENACTUS NEOMA Reims and ENACTUS NEOMA Rouen design projects with a social and/or environmental impact
Envie D’Sup in Rouen and Prépa’Rémois in Reims promote equal opportunities through tutoring in schools from middle school to post-baccalaureate level — the Cordées de la Réussite initiative
A SET representative is appointed in each student association at NEOMA. This community plays a part in implementing projects and initiatives linked to the challenges of the Social and Environmental Transition in schools and contributes to the Student SET Committee.
The GBSV coordinator works in close contact with NEOMA’s unit for combating violence, harassment and discrimination in schools and the HeForShe associations to prevent, support and take action in cases of violence, harassment or discrimination.
Awareness-raising and training initiatives take place on the NEOMA campuses throughout the year. These key events, the NEOMACT Days, are designed for the student community and/or staff:
Climate, biodiversity and diversity fresque-style workshops, and two-tonnes workshops

The NEOMACT Awards honour the most committed student initiatives that align with the School’s strategic challenges. After submitting their applications, associations pitch their project to a jury consisting of students, faculty and staff from the School.
The awards are divided into three categories:

The Change Makers Awards aim to inspire and reward MSc students for their social, civic or environmental initiatives. As well as celebrating outstanding pathways, this prize champions the positive impact of tomorrow’s graduates on society.
