In September, The BEST OF student life
Student activities and campus life are exceptionally active at NEOMA. Here we look back at 3 of the September highlights.
1/ NEOMA organised a day devoted to health
The School considers health matters to be an absolute priority, as well-being is an essential aspect of studying in optimal conditions. On 24 September it organised a ‘Health Day’ on its campuses, where students could be:
- Introduced to first aid with the Departmental Union of First Aid on the Reims and Paris campuses.
- Made more aware of addictions with the Addiction France organisation on the Reims and Paris campuses and La Boussole on the Rouen campus.
- Informed about sexually transmitted diseases with the UNILAB les Coquets laboratory in Rouen, Sida (AIDS) Info Service in Paris and CEGIDD in Reims.
- Made more aware of the dangers of excessive screen use and social networks by our partner HEYME on the 3 campuses.
The NEOMA Cellule Angela also attended with its specialists in harassment, discrimination, and sexist and sexual violence (HDVSS). And the nurses from our Health Centre were also at the village to talk about the roles they play.
2/ Student societies came out in force to recruit new members
On 25 September, our School’s student societies presented their activities across the three campuses. The Societies Forum, which takes place every year, helps recruit members from among the new students. They were totally spoiled for choice: the School has 97 societies, in areas ranging across business, entrepreneurship, volunteering, culture, sport and adventure. Everyone can choose what they are most passionate about.
Joining a society at NEOMA is very helpful for perfecting your team spirit, developing as a person, and cultivating skills that will be much valued in business.
3/ Student Olivia Dupond aimed at ‘zero carbon’ on her journey to Oslo
Almost 1200 km by soft mobility!! That was the challenge set for herself by our student on the Master in Management Programme, Olivia Dupond, when she set off for Lund University in Norwy. She wanted to travel while reducing her carbon impact as much as possible, so she took the bus. She then began her academic exchange and is taking courses in Enterprise Management, specialising in CSR.
