Charbel Jose CHIAPPETTA JABBOUR has been appointed as Head of the Information Systems, Supply Chain Management & Decision Support Department and Professor of Green, Circular, and Responsible Supply Chains at NEOMA Business School, France. He is one of dozens of French-based scholars to have been included in the prestigious Clarivate/Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher awards due to having multiple articles ranked among the top 1% of most cited papers globally. His international career includes both teaching and research in Latin America (Brazil), Asia (Japan), and Europe (Scotland, England, and France). He has published articles in numerous top-tier journals according to a wide range of rankings. In 2019, he received a British Academy of Management best paper award in Responsible Management (BAM Conference). He has been an Associate Editor at the Journal of Cleaner Production. He was one of the youngest academics in the history of the University of Sao Paulo (USP) to receive Habilitation in Management. He has served as PI/Co-I of a number of large-scale externally funded research projects, including Innovate UK, Midlands Engine UK, and FAPESP. He has supervised dozens of early-career researchers, both PhDs and post-docs. Charbel Jose is passionate about the application of the latest research in his teaching in the pursuit of creating more responsible future business leaders.
