PhD, Economics
Ran Tao is an Associate Professor of Economics at NEOMA Business School. She graduated summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Economics in 2011 and earned her PhD in Economics from Arizona State University in 2017. Her research interests fall under the broad label of applied economics, with a specific focus on public good provision. Ran has published articles on topics including charitable giving, the value of a statistical life, and gender equality in journals such as Applied Economics and International Business Review. She is currently working on projects regarding corporate social responsibility and is teaching courses in microeconomics.
