TRAN Minh Tam

Minh Tam Tran is an Assistant Professor of Management Science and Operations Research at NEOMA Business School, France. He holds two Master’s degrees in Statistical and Financial Engineering, Data Science, and Mathematics of Insurance, Economics, and Finance from Paris Dauphine University, Paris Sciences et Lettres University (PSL University), and École Normale Supérieure de Paris, PSL University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Lyon (INSA Lyon). Before joining NEOMA Business School, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Industrial Engineering Laboratory and Future Cities Lab of CentraleSupélec, Paris-Saclay University.

His research offers qualitative and quantitative insights into the digital transformation of supply chains, with a focus on economic and financial aspects. He examines, for instance, how blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) can enhance supply chain performance by reducing costs and improving service levels. Additionally, he explores omni-multichannel supply chain strategies and data-driven flow management. His work includes developing data-driven and machine-learning solutions for transportation and resource management challenges. His research has been published in the International Journal of Production Economics and presented at international conferences such as the International Symposium on Inventories (ISIR), the International Working Seminar on Production Economics (IWSPE), and the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) Annual Meeting.
