Develop a triple set of skills in management, digital and creativity!

Anne-Laure HERARD

Director of TEMA

We aim to make you into more than just managers, but rather entrepreneurs capable of doing other things, in other ways, throughout your professional career.

In the era of the digital revolution, TEMA is an innovative 5-year course to train managers in multiple skills: to be agile in a digital environment, creative, open to the world and imbued with the spirit of enterprise. All these skills are sought after by businesses as the economy undergoes digitisation.

TEMA was created as a pioneering programme in 1999, and for over 20 years it has built up its experience around two fundamental ideas:

  • Teaching that combines management, tech/digital and creativity
  • The innovative teaching method of learning by doing, favouring practical work and team projects

Joining TEMA means opting for a personalised pathway with many experiences in France or abroad (six month’s immersion in digital or design, internships/apprenticeship, double degrees, etc.) according to your ambitions and your professional aspirations.

At the end of the course, your hybrid skills will be very sought after to manage the digital transformation and develop innovation in organisations, two major issues they will have to deal with over the long term. You may work in major international groups or in start-ups, or even create your own business.

Do you want to have a future-oriented profession? Then come to TEMA!

TEMA provides full and comprehensive training, enabling you to enjoy many experiences in France and abroad and to personalise your career pathway according to your ambitions and your professional aspirations:

Skill sets

After earning your degree, you will have mastered the key TEMA skills to create, manage and oversee the development of innovative and digital projects, either for your company or for customers in a consulting capacity.

These skills are based on 4 objectives:

  • Developing and steering innovation
  • Managing technological and digital projects in information systems
  • Managing and coordinating international, multidisciplinary project teams
  • A disruptive marketing specialisation: developing and implementing innovative and disruptive marketing strategies
  • Or a digital transformation specialisation: developing and implementing the digital transformation for organisations

Evaluation procedures

The programme is recognised through a dual validation:

  • Ongoing assessment: evaluations conducted throughout the length of the programme in the form of individual or collective reports to be submitted,
  • A final evaluation: performed at the end of the course, it can be done under different forms – it is, for the most part, individual

At the end of the programme and after a validation of ECTS credits per programme year, the level 7 of TEMA (Innovation & Digital) is awarded to participants.

If some modules were not validated and thus no credits were earned, the programme participant can redo the evaluation during a period set up for this purpose.

4 business internships

Professional experience constitutes a fundamental element of the TEMA pathway in order to develop your employability.

The course therefore includes 4 internships for a total duration of up to 21 months:

  • 1styear: 2- to 3-month familiarisation internship
  • 3rdyear: 6-month operational internship
  • 4thyear: 6-month responsibility internship
  • 5thyear: 4- to 6-month integration internship

TEMA offers you many opportunities to personalise your career pathway:

  • All the internships may be done in France or abroad
  • All the internships may be replaced by a period of business creation in the NEOMA BS Incubator
  • The 5th year internship may be replaced by an apprenticeship.

You are supported in your search for internships by the counsellors of the Talent & Career Unit.

Major involvement from business

Businesses are heavily involved throughout the course, both in classes and activities (visits to businesses, enterprise projects, coaching, talks, advice sessions, internships, etc.).

A development council made up of decision-makers in businesses known as “technological” (digital, consultancy, robotics, etc.) provides advice to the programme directors, to ensure we always offer a course that meets the needs of business.

TEMA is also an official partner of Sopra Steria Next, a consultancy specialising in digital transformation.

Living at international level with TEMA

TEMA enables you to give your course an international dimension by spending up to 39 months abroad and studying half of your course in English.

Six-month study periods abroad

  • In the 2nd year: you will do one six-month period of immersion in tech/digital or design in France or abroad, on one of the campuses of one of our partners abroad
  • In the 3rd year: you will do a compulsory six-month study period abroad with one of our partners (from approximately 100 international partners).
  • In the 5th year: you may also do a six-month study period abroad (some 10 partners offer similar specialisms to TEMA) or one year as a double degree abroad.

You will therefore become part of the incubator of one of our international partners (UC Berkeley, Hong-Kong Baptist University, FGV Brazil, DCU Ireland, etc.)

If you wish, you can continue or begin a second and third language: Spanish, German and Chinese in Paris and Reims; Korean, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Arabic available only in Reims.

How to apply to TEMA, Reims campus?

All you have to do is select the programme and the campus on Parcoursup.

In order to validate your application, a payment of 50€ must be made on the mySESAME web site at the following address: https://mysesame.concours-sesame.net/phasecomplementaire

The proof of payment provided must then be deposited on Parcoursup. This payment is unique, regardless of the number of courses or schools of the SESAME bank to which you apply during the complementary phase.

Assessment methods :

Candidates in the complementary phase do not take any written or oral tests. Only the elements of your Parcoursup file are taken into account and will be the subject of an in-depth analysis by the TEMA management team. No additional documents will be accepted.

In order to limit the wait, applicants will receive a response within 2 working days of submitting their application.

CHOICES ON PARCOURSUP: how to give yourself the very best chance
video

Admission decisions are made by campus. So, when you indicate your choices on Parcoursup, we strongly recommend you select both the campuses available as subsidiary choices (Reims and Paris), as there is no limit to the number of such choices you can make for the Concours SESAME entrance competition. You will therefore give yourself 2 chances of being accepted onto TEMA.
