NEOMA Business School signs partnership with McGill University and strengthens its presence in Canada

Published on 17 April 2026

NEOMA Business School announces the signing of a new agreement with McGill University, a leading Canadian institution consistently ranked among the world's top 30 universities. Starting in September 2026, this agreement will enable several students from NEOMA's Programme Grande École to undertake a semester-long immersion at McGill. This new partnership strengthens NEOMA's international network, which includes 400 university partners across 61 countries, and consolidates its presence in Canada.

A new milestone in NEOMA's international strategy

With the signing of this new agreement, NEOMA Business School continues to deploy its international strategy and confirms the importance it places on Canada in its academic partnership policy. Founded in 1821, McGill University regularly ranks among the top 30 universities worldwide in the QS World University Rankings. The university hosts over 40,000 students from 150 nationalities and offers programs across all academic disciplines. Located in the heart of Montreal, McGill also excels in fields such as artificial intelligence and digital creative industries. For NEOMA, this partnership is fully aligned with the momentum of its Engage for the Future strategic plan (2023-2027), which positions internationalization as a major lever for transformation, attractiveness, and differentiation. "This partnership with McGill is part of our commitment to sustainably strengthen our presence in Canada. Montreal offers our students an environment of academic excellence, bilingual, in a dynamic and multicultural metropolis," explains Delphine Manceau, Dean of NEOMA Business School.

Montreal, a hub of excellence at the heart of NEOMA's strategy in Canada

This new agreement complements the partnerships already established with HEC Montréal, Concordia University, and Université Laval. It enables NEOMA to further strengthen its position within Quebec's academic ecosystem and expand the opportunities available to its students in one of North America's most attractive university cities.

With McGill, HEC Montréal, Concordia, and Université Laval, NEOMA now has four leading academic partners in Montreal and Quebec City, offering its students privileged access to high-quality pedagogical approaches, a world-class international environment, and a particularly dynamic economic fabric. "Montreal today represents a premier academic and economic hub. By consolidating our presence in this metropolis with McGill, which joins HEC Montréal and Concordia, while maintaining our ties in Quebec City with Université Laval, we are strengthening the quality, consistency, and visibility of our international offering in Canada, particularly in Quebec where we now have four strategic partners," notes Alexandre Pourchet, Deputy Dean of NEOMA.

An immersion and exchange program structured around the Semester@McGill program

Starting in September 2026, six students from the Programme Grande École will be able to undertake a semester-long immersion at McGill University. Taught in English, the courses will cover management disciplines (finance, strategy, marketing) as well as complementary courses in social sciences, literature, and humanities. Beyond academic excellence, this program is distinguished by an approach resolutely focused on developing essential cross-functional skills in contemporary professional environments: intercultural communication, critical thinking, adaptability, ability to work collaboratively, and leadership. NEOMA students will also benefit from full immersion in Montreal campus life, with access to all of McGill's facilities and student life. Tuition fees at McGill will be covered by NEOMA under the exchange agreement.
