VIVESCIA and NEOMA sign a strategic partnership to drive sustainable agricultural innovation

VIVESCIA, the French cereal cooperative group, and NEOMA Business School announce the signing of a strategic partnership agreement.
As part of this collaboration, NEOMA’s Bioeconomy and Sustainable Development Chair will work closely with the Group to conduct research on the sustainability of regional agriculture and the role of data in agricultural transition. VIVESCIA will also contribute to NEOMA’s academic programmes through teaching interventions, drawing on insights developed through TRANSITIONS, its regenerative and resilient agriculture programme.

Over the course of this three-year partnership, the Bioeconomy and Sustainable Development Chair will work with VIVESCIA on issues linked to the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices by cooperative farmers, data-driven evidence chains, and the evolution of business models.
"Our School, like our Chair, is deeply committed to agricultural transition. We are delighted to be collaborating with a major player such as VIVESCIA in support of sustainable agriculture," says Nicolas Béfort, holder of the Bioeconomy and Sustainable Development Chair at NEOMA.

This partnership also supports the momentum driven by VIVESCIA through TRANSITIONS, the first large-scale impact programme in France and Europe in favour of regenerative, low-carbon agriculture that benefits soils and biodiversity.
"Together with farmers, scientific and institutional partners, and industrial clients, VIVESCIA is committed to addressing the challenges of climate change and biodiversity, serving cereal and plant-based value chains, food and the bioeconomy," explains Valérie Frapier, CSR & TRANSITIONS Director.
"This same spirit of collaboration underpins our partnership with NEOMA. By drawing on NEOMA’s academic expertise, its Bioeconomy Chair and the innovative outlook of its students, we are strengthening our knowledge to continue progressing and accelerate solutions for more competitive and sustainable agricultural sectors," adds Christoph Büren, Chairman of the VIVESCIA Group.

For NEOMA, this partnership reflects a strong ambition: to train the next generation of professionals in the critical challenges of agricultural and food transition, while furthering the research conducted by the Bioeconomy and Sustainable Development Chair.
"This collaboration reflects our belief that economic performance and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand," explains Delphine Manceau, Dean of NEOMA Business School. "It also reaffirms our commitment to working alongside key stakeholders in our regions, fully aligned with the territorial engagement that drives us."
