Best of Student Life in December (2025)

Published on 12/01/2026

Campus life and student activities are particularly dynamic at NEOMA. Here we take a look back at three standout moments that shaped December 2025.

1/ Reims Neorateur invited to speak at French Senate

In December, NEOMA’s Alban Rochelois and Jérémy Bertucci, members of the Reims Neorateur association, took part in the Senate's commemoration of the 120th anniversary of the Law on the Separation of Church and State. The ceremony provided a stage for some outstanding rhetorical performances: Alban portrayed Jean Jaurès, journalist, politician and defender of freedom, while Jérémy took on the role of France’s Chief Rabbi, Zadoc Kahn, delivering a reading of his 1904 letter. The two students were the winners of the public-speaking competition organised by their association, which promotes eloquence, civic engagement and the transmission of major ideas. For Alban and Jérémy, the experience illustrated the role of public speaking in keeping history alive, encouraging dialogue and making sense of the challenges facing us today.

2/ NEOMA students take on the role of international negotiators (photo)

In December, students from the CESEM programme got together on the Reims campus for the traditional UN Night. While the city slept around them, participants stepped into the shoes of diplomats, taking on the role of international negotiators. As part of Climate Week, they explored major geopolitical and environmental challenges, representing national delegations and acting as ambassadors within various UN bodies. This full-scale immersion in international diplomacy featured inter-delegation debates, negotiations and compromises. It was a hands‑on learning experience that gave students a better understanding of the world’s complexity and prepared them for the challenges ahead. Truly exhilarating!

3/ Juliette shares a day in the life of an MiM work‑study student

Juliette Colas, a student on NEOMA’s Grande École Programme, is completing a work‑study placement as an assistant product manager at Starbucks at Home. She has made a video following her through a full day to share her experience with us. Her work schedule is particularly demanding: from her morning coffee to preparing a “Starbucks Toffee Nut Reading Party,” creating content, filming and more. Follow her story on  Neomabs’ Instagram account.
