Creation of a new Entrepreneurship Department
Published on 10/8/2024
NEOMA has created a new department dedicated to the development and expansion of entrepreneurship at NEOMA and is headed by Denis Gallot, a committed professor for more than seventeen years.
The objectives of NEOMA’s new entrepreneurship department will be to construct, guide and implement the school’s entrepreneurship strategy and promote NEOMA as a major player in business creation, further develop the creative and innovative outlook of our students and develop and promote the Startup Lab.
Denis Gallot is named director of entrepreneurship as of 1 September 2021.
“It’s an honour to be named the director of entrepreneurship at the school. I am still passionately committed to supporting innovation and start-up creation. I’d like to thank Delphine Manceau for her confidence in me”, he said.
For more than seventeen years, Denis Gallot has worked to develop entrepreneurship at NEOMA and expand its reach in Normandy.
In 2007, when he joined the school where he completed his studies, he oversaw the entrepreneurship major. Then, in 2011, he created the school’s first incubator on the Rouen campus. Between 2011 and 2014, he co-headed the KPMG-BNP PARIBAS “Business models and entrepreneurial innovation” chair.
In 2015, he became director of the Rouen campus and the NEOMA startup Lab, which unites the three incubators, the two accelerators and the Coding School, with many success stories of business creation, including Quitoque, Nachos, La Minut’Rit, Fraîche Cancan, Ulysse and more.
