As the traditional boundaries between management, science and technology continue to blur, NEOMA Business School is convinced that tomorrow’s managers will require hybrid skills. In the near future, professionals will need to be able to read a line of code as easily as a financial dashboard, and grasp artificial intelligence as confidently as a growth strategy. NEOMA has recently announced a series of partnerships and initiatives that support this strategic goal.
How does it work in practice? NEOMA has teamed up with ESA Angers, France’s leading private agri-food and agricultural school, and IMT Mines Alès, a highly regarded engineering school, to create new double management and engineering degrees that bring these two worlds together through joint academic programmes.
The real bonus for students: on completing the programme, they graduate not only with two degrees — one from NEOMA and one from the engineering school — but also with a rare dual skill set that is highly valued by employers.
How does it work in practice? NEOMA offers its students the opportunity to attend a summer school at Stanford University, one of the world’s most influential institutions, in the heart of Silicon Valley. Students can choose from over 130 courses focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship and emerging technologies.
The real bonus for students: the summer school is far more than a study-abroad experience; it immerses participants in the ecosystem driving the global economy. Rubbing shoulders with researchers, entrepreneurs, investors and students from across the globe makes for a truly exceptional experience.
How does it work in practice? NEOMA has signed an exclusive partnership with the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), one of the world’s most rigorous and prestigious scientific institutions, with links to no fewer than 39 Nobel Prizes. Every year, 15 students on the Master’s in Management programme will be selected to attend a bespoke summer school combining engineering, technology and major contemporary scientific challenges.
The real bonus for students: they build strong scientific foundations, learn to tackle complex problems with rigour, and leave with a rare ability: to communicate as peers with engineers and scientists — a key asset for managing technical teams or driving innovation projects.
How does it work in practice? In 2027, ten students from NEOMA’s Master’s in Management programme will be selected to take part in a five-day immersive experience at CES Las Vegas, the world's biggest tech trade show, which showcases thousands of innovations from around the world every year. The students’ mission will be to explore, analyse and rank the latest trends as they produce an authoritative report dubbed the "Michelin Guide to CES".
The real bonus for students: they won’t just be going to the trade show as visitors — they’ll be responsible for conducting a strategic analysis. The ability to distinguish genuine tech breakthroughs from fleeting fads, and to form a critical, structured understanding of global innovation, is an essential skill for the managers of tomorrow. In addition, the students will produce a tangible piece of work under their own names that showcases their analytical abilities on an international scale.
