NARCISO Gianluigi

PhD / Doctor in Business and Management

Gianluigi Narciso is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at NEOMA Business School. He received his PhD in Business and Management from the University of Surrey, Guildford, United Kingdom. 

His research explores how organizations interact with the natural environment, with a particular focus on sustainability transitions, planetary boundaries, and the hybridization of business models. He draws on institutional theory, systems thinking and post-growth economics to examine how firms can align practices with ecological limits.

His research has been presented at leading academic conferences such as EGOS and the Academy of Management (AOM), and at prestigious PDWs such as the JMS 2024 PDW at Bayes Business School (London). He is also engaged with several research communities and networks in sustainability and social innovation (CSIM at University of Surrey; ETHOS at Bayes Business School). Gianluigi teaches in the areas of sustainability, strategy and international business at master and undergraduate levels. 

Before joining NEOMA, he gained professional experience as a business analyst in the beverage industry and as a strategy and management consultant in Milan, Italy.
