PUTHINEEDI Venu Bhaskar

Venu is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at NEOMA Business School. His research focuses on the dynamics of opinion formation, digital responsibility, and the impact of generative AI on decision-making in online environments. Venu explores how platforms shape individual perceptions through personalization, echo chambers, and information overload. Using a blend of behavioral experiments, social media analytics, and machine learning, his work bridges theoretical insights with practical implications for platform design and policy. He is currently advancing projects targeting misinformation, algorithmic influence, and AI-human collaboration. Venu’s research has been featured in leading academic venues such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and ICIS. Deeply committed to producing socially relevant scholarship, he aims to contribute to building more transparent and usercentric digital ecosystems.
