SCHYNS Birgit

PhD in Psychology

Birgit Schyns is Distinguished Professor in the People & Organisations department at NEOMA Business School. Birgit (PhD, 2001, University of Leipzig, Germany) joined Neoma Business School as Professor in Organisational Behaviour in 2017 from Durham University, UK. Her main reaching areas are leadership and research methods. Her research focus is leadership, particularly the follower side of leadership as well as the dark side of leadership. Her work has been published in Leadership Quarterly, Academy of Management Perspectives and British Journal of Management. Birgit has edited several special issues and four books. She was associate editor for European Journal of Work and Organizational psychology (until 2011). British Journal of Management (until 2013), Applied Psychology: An International Review (until 2020) and Zeitschrift fuer Psychologie. Birgit also serves on several editorial boards.
