Business Intelligence Engineer, HEINEKEN
Having trained as a business engineer, I wanted to switch to a career in data to complement my practical knowledge with technical expertise, thereby gaining a dual skill set in both business and analytics. This desire arose in my second year, following a business intelligence course that was a real eye-opener: I discovered a whole new perspective on data and its potential – a world of limitless possibilities. I chose the Master’ degree in Marketing and Data Analytics to structure and enrich my career plans.
I discovered NEOMA through two lecturers at my engineering school, who made me want to find out more about the programme. At the same time, my research into Specialised Master’s programmes in data quickly led me to NEOMA’s Master’s degree in Marketing and Data Analytics, the best programme in its category.
Currently on a work-study programme at Heineken, I work on Power BI, cost and performance optimisation, as well as data collection and processing, with a focus on statistics and machine learning. The curriculum perfectly complements these experiences,whilst providing an essential marketing perspective to better understand the challenges of the industry. In the future, I hope to move into roles in data visualisation or data science.
