The MSc Marketing programme, awarding the Diplôme d’études supérieures spécialisées en management international (DESSMI), develops the ability to:
The certification’s skills blocks cannot be acquired separately. The proposed curriculum covers all skills blocks.
The curriculum covers marketing research, data analysis and digital communication. Depending on your track, you explore brand management, digital marketing and customer relationships, or the specific challenges of luxury marketing.
Teaching combines academic research, case studies and input from professionals. Simulations place you in marketing decision-making situations. Business projects and cases challenge you to analyse a problem and present evidence-based recommendations.
Many courses within the MSc Marketing are conducted in partnership with companies that are industry experts, incorporating professional lectures and case studies based on current business issues. Some partnerships are long term while others are based on a year-by-year agreement.
Examples of past partners include: Nielsen, GFK, Ferrero, PepsiCo, Ogilvy, Publicis Sapient, Havas Media, among others.
Four to six months of professional experience allows you to apply your learning. This may take the form of an internship, fixed-term or permanent employment, or business creation, in France or abroad. Its relevance and validation arrangements are reviewed by the academic team.
Programme adjustments may be available to high-level athletes and artists, depending on their circumstances. Contact the programme team to discuss possible arrangements.
NEOMA’s distance learning systems address two essential needs: training managers who can adapt to hybrid working methods and preparing employees to engage in autonomous, lifelong learning.
To achieve this, NEOMA structures its learning approaches around the NEOPEDAGOGIE model. This model keeps in-person teaching at the heart of the student experience (approximately 90%), supplemented by independent, remote learning activities (around 10%).
These remote learning activities take the form of so-called "asynchronous" sessions. Each asynchronous session is designed to represent a workload equivalent to a 3-hour in-person class.
Students typically complete this workload on their computers, though the assigned tasks may also be experiential and/or non-digital in nature.
In this context, professors retain full pedagogical freedom to propose the most suitable content for course continuity and the intended learning objectives. They determine the appropriate assessments and decide when the remote work logically and seamlessly fits into the course schedule.
The distance learning systems thus provide students with the opportunity to engage with diverse types of content, such as:
In addition to these formats integrated into NEOPEDAGOGIE, some professors also use "flipped classroom" approaches, where students are encouraged to review content between in-person sessions to foster discussion and debate during classes.
The programme is validated through two forms of assessment:
At the end of the programme, once the ECTS credits for each year of study have been validated, participants are awarded the Level 7 DESSMI – MSc Marketing qualification.
If certain modules have not been validated and the corresponding credits have not been obtained, students may take a resit assessment during the scheduled periods.

Expand your professional horizons and reach for a Master of Science from a top French business school.
The first year of my MSc was a year of building the fundamentals skills necessary for almost every aspect of my professional life. Courses like Quantitative Methods gave me skills related to several fields of study, like economics and finance, helping me to read and analyse data in a more objective way. Geopolitics provided me with a comprehensive vision of world trade. Also, a full day’s work in an English-speaking environment strengthened my preparation for work in an international context. The courses were extremely useful and gave me confidence in my skills. What I also liked a lot is the diversity of teachers; they are from different countries, which really gives me a feeling of studying in an international school.
After completing a special two-year diploma in Marketing & Trade, I chose to go abroad and complement it with a bachelor’s degree in English. After graduating with a 3-year bachelor’s degree, I decided to enrol in the two-year MSc option at NEOMA Business School. It was the ideal solution for me, and I was able to earn a Master of Science. The first year at NEOMA prepared me for my MSc courses and the professional challenges of international business.
