NEO’Insights #8 | From Crowd to Innovation: Making Crowdsourcing Work for Your Brand

NEO’Insights #8 | From Crowd to Innovation: Making Crowdsourcing Work for Your Brand

More and more companies are turning to crowdsourcing to drive innovation. Yet many initiatives struggle to generate participation and to be effectively leveraged.

Who should design your next products: brand fans or more ordinary consumers? Should participants be featured in your communications? Can a company with a damaged reputation still mobilise a community? And why do some profiles refuse to take part, for fundamentally different reasons?

Drawing on experimental studies, company collaborations, and interviews with experts and participants, this session highlights sometimes counterintuitive findings that challenge traditional approaches.

It will provide practical insights to better understand what truly drives engagement, overcome participation barriers, and communicate more effectively around crowdsourced innovations.
