Areas of Excellence, Chairs & Institutes – our distinctive expertise
The faculty at NEOMA Business School are committed to using their expertise to collectively and actively address the challenges faced by businesses and society, while producing research results that also contribute to ongoing theory conversations. To support our faculty, research activity at NEOMA is centred on Areas of Excellences, to which Chairs, Institutes, and partnerships are connected.
Areas of Excellence
Areas of Excellence (AEs) are one of NEOMA’s recent initiatives, aimed at moving research away from disciplinary silos and towards impactful, multidisciplinary contributions to ongoing challenges.
The School is in the process of transitioning to the AEs. As part of this process, the Chairs and Institutes will also become part of, or affiliated with one or more specific AE(s). Further details about the AEs will be communicated in June 2021.
Chairs are connected to AEs, and originate from a collaboration between NEOMA and external stakeholders. Their purpose is to provide concrete insights and solutions on a specific topic, directly related to the partner challenges.
Chair in Bioeconomy and Sustainable Development
Institutes are also connected to AEs, and stem from faculty members’ research interests, funded by institutional partners, public research bodies, or firms.
