NEOMA's world

Thematics :

Student activities and campus life have been particularly exciting at NEOMA this month. Here we look back at 3 of the month’s stand-out happenings.

1/ Students on the MSc BDCGC took part in a seminar on leadership

In December, students on the MSc Business Development and Clients Grands Comptes took part in a seminar on leadership. This training was prepared by NEOMA and SCYFCO, and led by former Saint-Cyr officers. In the middle of a forest, shielded from a vast area all around, they were faced with some complex situations. The aim was to perfect their strategies, and learn to make decisions. The participants came back brimming with enthusiasm!

2/ Vincent Brezin, Master in Management student, spent a day at PwC

DuoDay enables a student with a disability to spend a day in a business, investigating a profession and perfecting their career plan. That was how Vincent Brezin came to be shadowing colleagues in PwC’s audit and consultancy department last December. “I learned that auditing is a profession that combines technical skills and communication,” he told us. “I was impressed by the way the auditors deal with the figures while at the same time maintaining a relationship of trust with their clients. This immersive experience also gave me the chance to gain a better understanding of the demanding, dynamic environment in a company like PwC.”

3/ Marianne Bories, on an exchange at John Caroll University, was congratulated by the Dean

Marianne Bories, a Master in Management student on an exchange in the United States, received congratulations from the Dean of John Carroll University for her exceptional academic performance. “I was not expecting that at all. Especially as I had chosen courses that were very intellectually stimulating but particularly demanding: Financial Management, Advanced Data-driven Decision-making, Global Supply Chain, and Business Ethics. I immediately told Pauline Appert, the NEOMA coordinator who had supported me so well during my exchange. I am proud of this accolade and of having represented my School at international level,” she told us.
