NEOMA's world

Thematics :

NEOMA is a demanding school, so it is natural that it has partnerships with companies as prestigious as Krug, Louis Vuitton, La Pairie, and Boucheron. Here is a look at these luxury industry partnerships and the benefits they have for our students.

Krug brings effervescence to the MSc Wine & Gastronomy

The project: In Reims, students in the MSc Wine & Gastronomy this year will work with the champagne house Krug. Its director, Olivier Krug, attended the programme’s kick-off on 30 September. He presented the company, founded in 1843 by his forebear Joseph, and offered an exceptional tasting to the students. The partnership will continue throughout the year with regular meetings with the directors of Krug and case studies given to the students.

The bonus for the students: The meetings with the directors, the tours of the Krug facilities, the work on practical case studies are some of the many opportunities for coming in contact with the realities of a company that the students would like to aim for. It’s also the chance to understand its requirements and the business logic that guides its direction and decisions.

Louis Vuitton supports the MSc International Master in Luxury Management

The project: The house of the luxury group LVMH became a partner of our programme MSc International Master in Luxury Management, a double diploma offered along with POLIMI Graduate School of Management (Milan, Italy). The brand was presented at the launch of the programme on 1 October. It will participate this year during the master class. Students can visit the Louis Vuitton studios in Asnières and they will work on business case studies, which will be submitted in February at the company’s headquarters. The year will also have special moments focused on searching for talent.

The bonus for the students: The partnership with Vuitton offers a path into the heart of the company. Students will discover the diversity of the positions at this kind of house (studio tours), its challenges, its business logic, marketing strategy and development choices (immersion in the head offices).

La Pairie cosmetics offers adapted treatments to the programme MSc Marketing

The context: The cosmetics brand La Pairie and NEOMA created a programme for the students in the MSc Marketing programme. This year they will work on the experience, exclusivity and selectivity of customer relations as well as on a business case study focused on the company’s challenges. A highlight of this partnership is the meeting with Morgane Jouot, managing director of La Pairie and NEOMA graduate.

The bonus for the students: La Prairie is a special brand because it does not have shops by only corners. Its headquarters is in France and the French branch handles the supply chain. The case study will thus give students a practical and in-depth understanding of how the company works.

Boucheron enriches the MSc Luxury Marketing programme

The project:  The luxury jewellery house Boucheron this year will call upon the skills of our students in the luxury track of the MSc Marketing programme. It will have them work on a business case study as well as in “lab” mode to find new ideas and opportunities for the international market.

The bonus for the students: By having them work on a practical case study, Boucheron helps the students learn how a luxury jewellery brand that has existed for a long time in Europe can develop in a globalised world. The company plans to open a shop in the U.S. The lab is also a good way for students to learn by testing solutions for a real brand.
