Delphine Manceau elected president of CGE

Delphine Manceau, our director, was elected president of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles on June 19. The CGE is a network of 250 elite institutions in France representing close to 500,000 students. Professor Manceau is keen to use her new mandate to promote the Grandes Écoles both in France and on the international stage. She is poised to play a key role in fostering dialogue with national and local government, and will also be a catalyst in defining the future of higher education.

“In a rapidly evolving landscape, I will vigorously defend the Grandes Écoles model, which combines excellence, openness, agility and impact,” stated Professor Manceau. “I will work to ensure that our voice is heard, to influence future reforms and to uphold a bold vision for the future of higher education that makes our nation more attractive and competitive, and that reinforces our sovereignty.”

Professor Manceau has long been dedicated to actively shaping developments in the higher education sector. She already sits on the board of the AACSB international accreditation body and on a number of school advisory boards in France, North America and Asia. In addition, she is a member of the executive board of the Conférence des Directeurs des Écoles Françaises de Management (CDEFM).
